WAYNE CO., Mich. (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating a three-vehicle crash involving a semi truck. It happened Tuesday evening on eastbound I-96 express just after the Southfield Freeway.
Investigators say one person was ejected from one of the vehicles. That person's injuries are critical. There is no update on the status of others involved in the crash.
The eastbound lanes are expected to remain closed until about 11 p.m.
