WARREN, Mich. (WXYZ) — Four people were injured during a shootout at a house party in Warren Wednesday night.
Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer says the "wild" shooting happened at a home on Lawson Street.
The four people injured sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, police say.
Dwyer says the incident began when one of the partygoers produced a weapon and opened fire on the crowd. Other partygoers then pulled out their guns and returned gunfire, according to authorities.
At least 40 shots were fired during the shootout.
