FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 40-year-old Ferndale woman has been hospitalized after being struck in the area of southbound Woodward and Marshall Tuesday.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. Police say the woman was conscious at the scene but suffered leg and head trauma.

She was taken to a local hospital. No word yet on her current condition.
Southbound Woodward at Pearson was closed for an investigation.
