(WXYZ) — Wayne State University Doctor of Therapy students are holding a fundraiser.
The 2019 DEW What you SAY 5K race benefits the SAY Detroit Physical Therapy Clinic and the Diabetes Education and Wellness Clinic. Both clinics are student-run and pro-bono, designed to help serve the underinsured.
The race will take place Oct. 5 on the Wayne State campus.
All funds raised will go directly to help cover costs of supplies, education materials and maintenance of the clinics.
