A 69-year-old man died early Thursday morning in a fast-moving condo fire.
Clinton Township Fire Department Chief Tim Duncan tells 7 Action News that the fire began shortly after midnight inside a small detached condo near Groesbeck and Little Mack. The man was rushed out of the home and the fire was put out quickly, but he stopped breathing while being taken to the nearby hospital.
A neighbor called 9-1-1 to report the fire.
No other individuals were injured and the fire was limited to the one home.
Investigators are currently looking at potential causes of the fire. Officials are working to confirm the identity of the man who died in the fire.
