A judge working in Wayne County is facing criminal sexual conduct charges after he allegedly touched a female coworker inappropriately.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says Judge Henry Perez, 74, is accused of inviting his 33-year-old coworker into his office on December 28 around 7 a.m. and touching her body against her will.
“These allegations are very troubling. This type of charged behavior will not be tolerated no matter your station in life," Worthy said in a statement.
Judge Perez is charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct fourth degree.
His arraignment is scheduled for March 10 at 11 a.m.
