78-year-old woman found safe after missing from Detroit home

DETROIT (WXYZ) — UPDATE: Ms. Stones has been found and is home safe with her family, according to police.

Police say Mary was last seen on April 22 around 1p.m. at her home located in the 7000 block of Burnette. Her husband woke up from a nap, noticed she was gone and hasn't seen or heard from her since.

She is described as between 5-feet 3-inches and 5-feet 5-inches, 180 to 200 pounds and has gray hair. She was last seen wearing a black winter coat and had a black handbag. She was driving a silver 1998 Cadillac Catera, police say.

Mary Ann Stones is in good physical condition, but according to her husband, she does have a mental illness.
