DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police say two people, including an 8-year-old, were shot in the parking lot of a business on Monday afternoon.
According to police, the 28-year-old man and 8-year-old boy were shot in the parking lot of the business near 8 Mile and Dequindre. Both have non-fatal injuries.
Police say the man was pulling out of the parking lot when an unknown suspect pulled up and fired shots into his vehicle. After the shooting, the suspect drove off in an unknown directions.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20s, dark complexion with small dreads, driving a gold sedan and armed.
