Detroit police are investigating after an 89-year-old woman was killed in an accident on I-94 this morning.
Police say she was driving her Pontiac in the area of the I-94 service drive and 16th Street when she drove over the embankment and landed in the westbound lanes of I-94.
She was rushed to a hospital where she later died.
