DETROIT (WXYZ) — Protesters took to the streets of Detroit for another night of protests marking the death of George Floyd.

Friday's march follows a peace march on Belle Isle that attracted hundreds of people. The peaceful protest lasted for more than 2 hours past curfew, marching through the New Center Area and parts of Detroit's west side.

It follows another protest march on Thursday that ended before curfew. Several other marches this week stretched beyond the curfew, with Chief Craig allowing Wednesday's march to stretch long beyond the 8pm curfew.

A small protest that broke off from the main protest Tuesday was broke up and more than 100 people were arrested when they refused to disperse.
