A 13-year-old boy was shot in the back on Sunday afternoon on Detroit's west side.
According to police, Tyrone Gladden was walking down the street, by a child's birthday party, when he was struck by a bullet.
Family members say Tyrone was on his way to the park with a couple of friends.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Neighbors tell 7 Action News dozens of children were standing outside when the shots were fired. They ran inside a home to take cover.
One of the bullets hit a nearby home and pierced a window frame.
Police do not have any suspects in custody.
