AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have increased by about 10 cents per gallon in the past week.
The average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas is now $2.34.
According to AAA, that's still 13 cents less than this time last year.
Experts believe the jump is caused by a rise in oil prices, which just hit a one year high.
