Detroit police responded to the scene of an accident involving a fire truck on the city's east side this morning.
Police say the fire crew was on its way to a call when it was hit by the driver of a white minivan at the intersection of Iroquois and Charlevoix. We're told the rig's lights and sirens were activated.
The driver of the minivan and a firefighter sustained minor injuries.
