A hearing for accused serial rapist Ikeie Smith has been adjourned until October 6 at 9 a.m.
Smith is a suspect in 35 different home invasions and sexual assaults in multiple communities - including Garden City, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Allen Park, Taylor and Redford.
Investigators say the 32-year-old broke into homes and attacked women inside.
In at least one of the cases, a woman was assaulted at knife-point while her husband and kids slept in nearby bedrooms.
