WESTLAND, Mich. (WXYZ) — There are many different ways to announce the closure of schools in a district. Dr. Shelley Holt, superintendent of Wayne-Westland Community Schools, decided to make that announcement with a rap video.

Holt recruited her administration to rap over an instrumental of Drake's "God's Plan." The announcement let students and parents know that classes will be canceled Jan. 30 and 31, but will resume on Friday, Feb. 1.

Watch the video below.

The Wayne-Westland School district is just one of several schools, universities and businesses that have announced doors will be closed on Wednesday due to the polar vortex coming to metro Detroit Wednesday.
