(WXYZ) — All lanes of eastbound I-96 between Beck Rd. and Novi Rd. in Novi are back open after a semi rolled over into a ditch earlier this morning.
The semi rolled into the ditch and is now wedged there. It was expected to take some time to get the freeway reopened, however, crews are leaving the semi in the ditch for now.
However, MDOT said it is closing eastbound I-96 at Beck Road Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday so that they can clean up debris from the crash and get the semi out of the ditch
