Ann Arbor children reportedly approached by man with gun

Ann Arbor police confirm they are investigating after a group of children reported being approached by a man in a minivan who was showing off his gun. 

The incident reportedly happened on April 26 near Scarlett Middle School and Mitchell Elementary School. 

The group of boys, ages 11 and 12, told police the man pulled up in a dark minivan and pointed a handgun at the vehicle's ceiling. 

It's unclear what was said.
