The 2017 Bay-Rama Fishfly Festival returns to downtown New Baltimore from June 21 - 25. The schedule is packed with activities, events and contests for all ages. Here's a look at what's planned for the 53rd annual festival.
Wednesday, June 21
3 p.m.: Midway opens.
3 p.m.: Festival Tent opens.
3 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Bay-Rama presents Rosco the Clown on the midway.
4 p.m.: Dig for Silver for ages 3 to 6.
5 p.m.: Ping Pong Drop for ages 3 to 6 and 7 to 10 in Walter and Mary Burke Park.
6 p.m. to 11 p.m.: The Meldrum Brothers Band performs in the Festival Tent.
6:30 p.m.: Miss Bay-Rama Pageant takes place in the Festival Tent.
7 p.m.: "Chicken Chuckin'" contests for ages 7 to 9, 10 to 12 and adults ages 13 and older.
10 p.m.: Midway closes.
11 p.m.: Festival Tent closes.
Thursday, June 22
3 p.m.: Midway and Festival Tent open.
3 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Bay-Rama presents Rosco the Clown on the midway.
4 p.m.: Bubble gum blowing contest for ages 6 to 11.
4:30 p.m.: Wrap your mummy contest for ages 6 to 10.
5 p.m.: Hula hoop contest for all ages.
5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Snapchat Scavenger Hunt for all ages.
6 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Top Dog Entertainment performs in Walter and Mary Burke Park.
8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: The Joey Vee band performs in the Festival Tent.
Dusk: The Fabulous Fishfly Fireworks display in Walter and Mary Burke Park.
10 p.m.: Midway closes.
12:30 a.m.: Festival Tent closes.
Friday, June 23
3 p.m.: Midway and Festival Tent open.
3 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Bay-Rama presents Rosco the Clown on the midway.
4 p.m.: Pie eating contest for ages 7 to 10, 11 and 12, and 13 and older.
5 p.m.: Watermelon eating contest for ages 7 to 10, 11 and 12, and 13 and older.
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Princess and Pirate Pizza Party at the New Baltimore Civic Club.
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Cornhole tournament in the Festival Tent.
8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: The Gobies perform in the Festival Tent.
8:30 p.m.: Stein holding contest in the Festival Tent.
10 p.m.: Midway closes.
12:30 a.m.: Festival Tent closes.
Saturday, June 24
8:30 a.m.: Anchor Bay Rotary Charities Fun Run takes place.
Noon: Midway and Festival Tent open.
Noon to 2 p.m.: "Kid's Day Birthday Bash" for ages 12 and younger.
Noon to 2 p.m.: Petting farm.
Noon to 6 p.m.: Momford & Sons performs in the Festival Tent.
Noon to 8 p.m.: Bay-Rama presents Rosco the Clown on the midway.
2 p.m.: Pizza eating contest for ages 7 to 10, 11 and 12, and 13 and older.
2:30 p.m.: Registration for Cardboard Boat Regatta begins at Walter and Mary Burke Park.
3 p.m.: Boat construction begins in Walter and Mary Burke Park.
4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Cardboard Boat Regatta takes place at Walter and Mary Burke Park.
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Cornhole tournament in the Festival Tent.
8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: Doin' Time performs in the Festival Tent.
10 p.m.: Midway closes.

Sunday, June 25
9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: The Queen's Breakfast takes place at St. John's Lutheran Church.
11 a.m.: Parade line-up begins at Alfred and Base streets.
Noon: Midway opens.
1 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Bay-Rama presents Rosco the Clown on the midway.
1 p.m.: The Bay-Rama Fishfly Festival Parade begins.
