(WXYZ) — A person of interest is now in police custody after Melvindale-Northern Allen Park Schools were closed Wednesday. This is the third straight day the school has been closed.
School is expected to reopen for Thursday.
Melvindale police say they were made aware of another possible threat that took place at Melvindale High School and Strong Middle School.
The department is working with the FBI to identify who is involved with the possible threats.
If any new information is found, police are asking to inform the department through the Melvindale Police Department Facebook page.
