Video editing software can be a beast at times, so Apple is aiming to make the process a bit more fun and less of a hassle with the launch of a new app.
The company introduced Clips in a recent news release.
Centered around video editing, Apple says the app doesn’t deal with clunky timelines. Shareable videos can reportedly be created quickly with just a couple of taps.
You can take video through the app, or add a combo of video and photos from your photo library.
Of course, there are fun bells and whistles, too. Apple says effects like artistic filters, speech bubbles, emoji, and music will help users quickly bring their videos to life.
Clips will also have a unique feature called "Live Titles." The company says you’ll be able to create animated captions with your voice.
The free app is expected to be available in April.
