DETROIT (WXYZ) — ARISE Detroit! is holding its 14th annual Neighborhoods Day on Saturday, August 1.
The event gives Detroiters a chance to show off their neighborhood pride while also showcasing ways they're working to improve quality of life.
Over 100 churches, block groups, and community organizations are expected to participate.
The 2020 edition of Neighborhoods Day is slightly modified, thanks to social distancing and other safety guidelines, but dozens of activities are still scheduled throughout the city.
