Detroiters are on a mission to transform neighborhoods -- and they are teaming up this weekend for a summit designed to improve lives.
The ARISE Detroit! Neighorhoods Rising Summit will be held on Saturday, November 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wayne County Community College District Downtown campus.
Tahirih Ziegler of Detroit LISC is set to be the keynote speaker at the 7th annual event.
The summit will have a full day of panel discussions and workshops on how residents can improve the community around them. It's all free.
