DETROIT (WXYZ) — An armed robbery suspect is in the hospital after being shot during an encounter with police.
The scene in on Detroit's west side, at West Chicago and Schaefer.
Police say the suspect pointed a gun at officers. They fired shots at him, striking him.
The suspect is in temporary serious condition.
No officers were injured.
