A suspect involved in a robbery at a bank in Auburn Hills has been arrested in Detroit, police say.
Auburn Hills Police and Oakland University Police were searching for the 38-year-old robbery suspect.
Oakland University Police were notified of a robbery at the Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union on University Drive Thursday around 1:15 p.m.
Officers say the suspect told the employees he had a weapon before escaping the scene on foot, heading west toward I-75.
The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. He also has black hair, a beard and tattoos on his arms.
The Auburn Hills Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
More information will be provided on the suspect when he is charged and arraigned.
