HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Several fire agencies assisted the Highland Park Fire Department putting out a fire at a building structure Sunday.

The fire broke out at the Nationwide Police Recovery building at 91 Manchester, which is connected to Forman Mills.

Hamtramck and Detroit fire departments assisted taming the blaze.

According to officials, the fire took roughly 10 to 15 minutes to put out. There was smoke damage, but no fire damage.

The cause of the fire is unknown, however, the fire chief says that the transformers may have caught fire igniting the blaze.
