A 41-year-old man who is accused of assaulting people at a bus stop in Pontiac was tasered by Oakland County Sheriff's deputies when he refused to stop for them.
Deputies were called out to Saginaw Street and Water Street on reports that the man was attacking citizens with an unknown object.
Witnesses gave deputies a description of the suspect who had taken off on a bicycle.
Deputies found the suspect and warned him several times to stop his bicycle. The suspect reportedly ignored those orders. The man was tasered and taken into custody.
It was determined that the suspect had used a towel with a glass bottle inside to assault victims.
The suspect was taken to the Oakland County Jail. He is expected to face criminal charges.
