Dearborn Police responded to a call of a baby left alone in a parked car at Fairlane Town Center Friday afternoon.
Police say a man left his 15-year-old son in the car with a baby as the father went into the mall. But then the teen decided he wanted to go in the mall to get some food and left the baby alone in the car with the window cracked.
The father and teenager returned to the car as police were trying to keep the baby calm and gain entry to the vehicle.
No charges are expected, but police say it is a reminder to be responsible with children in the car, particularly in warmer weather.
