Police are looking for four suspects in an armed robbery that occurred on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor on the Diag near West Hall Arch.
A Boober Tours bicycle taxi driver was giving a ride to four people on Nov. 1 around 2 a.m., officials say. They were overheard saying they had no money to pay for the ride.
When the driver stopped, the first suspect brandished a handgun. The suspects took money and a blanket and fled north on the Diag.
The first suspect is described as a man seen wearing a Detroit Pistons hat, red zip-up sweater, green coat, torn acid-washed jeans and light brown boots. The second suspect is a man with short dreadlocks last seen wearing a red shirt with a toy bandoleer over the left shoulder, black pants, light-colored shoes and a white baseball hat. The stolen leopard-print blanket was draped over his shoulders.
Police describe the third suspect as a man with short dark hair and a short beard last seen wearing a sleeveless brown coat, black tank top, black pants and black shoes with white soles and a wrestling belt. The fourth suspect is described as a man with a short beard wearing a blue jacket with white zippers, beige baseball cap, dark colored jeans and white shoes.
