Enjoy the art of theatre this holiday season with the Birmingham Village Players and their newest virtual production: Belles.

“It’s the story of six southern sisters told in two acts and forty-five phone calls,” said Tania Velinsky who is the producer as well as one of the stars, in a press release. “That makes it the perfect production during COVID.”

The Birmingham Village Players say viewers will get the feeling that they peeked into someone’s Zoom meeting, taking a front row seat to all the family secrets.

The production will be presented virtually December 4 and December 5.

The Birmingham Village Players say all of the rehearsals were set up via Zoom, and that is how the production was recorded.

Belles was written by Mark Dunn and stars Jan Cartwright of Novi, Julia Cody of Hazel Park, Kez Settle of Clawson, Suzie Skibicki of Bloomfield Hills, Nancy Valentini of Livonia, and Tania L. Velinsky of Royal Oak.
