Bishop Edgar Vann, the longtime leader of Second Ebenezer Church in Detroit, says he was recently pulled over by a Detroit police officer downtown.
While he isn’t disputing the citations he was issued, he did take issue with the officer’s approach.
He claims the officer, who’s race he declined to reveal, approached his vehicle with his gun drawn and his finger on the trigger.
The Bishop does not know why he was approached in such an aggressive manner, but felt startled by the incident.
Detroit Police Chief Craig says an internal investigation is underway.
