Bobcat Bonnie's will take over the former space of Zeke's Rock and Roll BBQ on Nine Mile in Ferndale.
Zeke's announced the closure on Sept 6 on its Facebook page.
According to an article in Eater Detroit, Bobcat Bonnie's plans to remodel quickly in time for a mid-October opening.
Bonnie's will also try to retain the staff from Zeke's and will offer training at the other two locations in Detroit and Wyandotte.
