Detroit police say a woman was seen in the Detroit River after a vehicle went into the water off Belle Isle this morning.
Police say witnesses reported that the woman plunged her vehicle into the water.
The woman was seen in the water, but then never resurfaced.
MSP says they saw tracks coming off of the island, and were investigating whether the driver slid off the road.
