DETROIT (WXYZ) — Warren police say the bodies of a six-year-old boy and a woman were found inside a home in Warren as part of an investigation of a burned body found in Detroit.
It all started around 2:30 a.m. when Detroit police found a body inside a burned car on Hyde Park Dr. on the city's east side.
Police were able to identify the body and Warren officers then went to a home for notification.
When officers arrived at the home, they found the woman's body and the small child's body inside. The mother of the boy says his name is Tairaz. She says he was at the house with his dad and his dad's girlfriend. Family members say they are the other victims.
Right now, it's not clear the relation to the man who was found, or if any suspects are in custody.
