The boil water advisory has been lifted for Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park.

Two rounds of tests have come back clear, according to the Great Lakes Water Authority.

The advisory went into effect on Tuesday and officials say it was triggered by a sudden loss of pressure in the system from the Great Lakes Water Authority.

The advisory had schools closed down in the affected area for a couple of days.
