A boil water advisory that was issued Saturday has been lifted for Farmington and Farmington Hills, but is still in effect for Livonia.
The notice was sent out Saturday night after a power failure at one of the Great Lakes Water Authority booster stations.
The power failure caused the water system to lose pressure which means there was a potential for pollutants to enter the system.
