A boil water advisory has been lifted for consumers who live in the area of 8 Mile and Haggerty Roads.
City officials issued the boil water advisory following a water main break that caused a loss of pressure.
The city had advised residents to boil their water before drinking it. After analysis, it was determined that the water is safe.
Local businesses posted signs informing customers that some of items would not be sold due to the advisory. Taco Bell posted that it was not selling any beans, rice, frezzes or beverages.
