DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police responded to a bomb threat at the new Shinola Hotel in downtown Detroit.

The threat was called in Wednesday morning to the hotel located at the corner of Woodward and Grand River.

Police say the hotel's director of security received a phone call saying they had until 11:30 a.m. to evacuate the building before a bomb went off.

Several units responded including the bomb squad and bomb-sniffing dogs. Police gave the all-clear after nothing was found.
