A video of a boy being reunited with his missing dog has gone viral.
A family in Byron New York lost their pug Piper for two and a half weeks after the dog went outside and didn't return. The dog was a gift for the boy's 12th birthday.
After hoping the dog would return, the family was eventually notified by the Genesee County Animal Shelter in Batavia, New York, that the dog was found.
The boy's mother surprised the him after school with the dog. Watch the touching video above.
