Just when you thought winter was behind us -- a gut punch.
Rain and dropping temperatures could be just enough to deliver up to two inches of wet snow across metro Detroit on Thursday. Winds will also pick up Thursday, starting around 10-15 mph, and by the afternoon, gusts can hit as high as 32 mph.
Chilly temperatures remain Friday for Opening Day in Detroit, and we can even expect to see a few flurries during the baseball game – but no accumulation. Skies will be cloudy, with the highest temperatures reaching mid-40s.
On the bright side, looks like sun and warmer temperatures return in time for the weekend.
