DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are investigating a fatal hit and run in Detroit just after midnight on Tuesday.
Officers say the victim was hit while riding his motorcycle around 12:26 a.m. in the area of Puritan and Lindsay. A blue older model Cadillac struck the man at the intersection, then sped off with driver-side damage, police say.
A medic unit transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he has been listed in critical condition. The 41-year-old man later died from his injuries, police say.
The investigation is ongoing.
