Imagine waking up early to cast your vote for the Michigan primary election and finding that the tires on your car are gone – all four of them.
Well, this was a reality for State Representative Fred Durhal III, a Democratic candidate running for Senate.
"I VOTED this morning even though I woke up to this," is what the caption of Durhal's Facebook post read on Tuesday.
Four photos of the damage were posted with the black sedan on cement blocks. The theft was also caught on a home surveillance system. In another photo, Durhal is seen wearing an "I Voted! Did You??" sticker, showing that he was, in fact, able to make it to the polls.
