A high-speed chase on Detroit’s west side had a suspect driving at more than 110 MPH on Sunday night.
This led to an intense manhunt in a Detroit neighborhood, which was locked down until his capture.
Thousands of Action News viewers watched the manhunt unfold and end on Facebook Live.
MSP officers were chasing a red sedan before losing the suspect, who ditched the car in that neighborhood near MLK and I-96.
He then fled into nearby brush, which caused officers to lock down a neighborhood.
They searched by air with helicopters, and on the ground with K9s, the officers were heavily armed.
About a half hour later, the officers approached an abandoned home, and quickly went inside, finding the suspect and hauling him out in handcuffs.
The identity of the suspect has not been released, nor why he fled.
