Get ready for some good music and great soul food!
The Ribs R&B Music Festival kicks off today and runs through August 14 at Hart Plaza in Detroit.
Over 30 national and international acts are scheduled to perform. There will also be barbecue ribs from grillers across the United States.
The event is free Friday until 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday until 2 p.m. It's a $5 charge after those times. The festival will run 11:30 a.m. to midnight all weekend.
