Chesterfield Township police looking for man who broke into home, stole several items

CHESTERFIELD TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) — Chesterfield Township police are asking residents with surveillance systems to come forward in hopes of locating a home invasion suspect who allegedly stole multiple items from a house on Baker Road.

The incident happened Sunday, April 14 at 1:45 a.m.

The suspect, described as a white man with long hair in a pony tail to his mid-back, broke into a home on Baker Road near 23 Mile.

The man was captured on surveillance video. Police say he got away with multiple stolen items.

Authorities are asking the community to come together to help capture the culprit, by providing officers with home security footage in the area and reposting information about the theft on their social media accounts.
