DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit Police Chief James Craig says his officers investigated a viral video that allegedly showed a kidnapping and determined it was actually a domestic incident.
The video was posted by Facebook and sent to 7 Action News by our viewers.
During an afternoon press conference, Craig said his officers were notified when a woman called 911 to report what had happened. After investigating they found the van and determined the two people involved were both safe. However, Craig also said the woman in the video was not cooperating.
