CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Clinton Township Police have lifted a shelter in place order after taking a man with a gun into custody early Wednesday morning.
Few details have been released regarding the investigation, but police say the man was initially walking in the area of Budd Park overnight. A police captain told 7 Action News reporter Matthew Smith the suspect shot at a man sitting in a car. Luckily, the suspect missed, leaving the victim uninjured, according to the captain.
Officers searched for hours with a helicopter and drones.
