Spring is within reach but Winter is holding on for the first week of March. Another round of arctic air is closing in but we'll have to get through some weekend snow showers first. Saturday morning will have some snow passing through the area as a cold front moves approaches. This will give the Metro Detroit area an inch or less before the system moves out of the area Saturday night.
Another Round of Cold to Follow
Once the snow moves out the colder air moves in. This blast of cold won't be as bad as the round in late January / early February, but we'll still have to layer up. Look for wind chills to dip into the negatives on Tuesday and Wednesday since the winds will pick up a little. The good-news is that the cold snap will be short lived as temps look to rebound by next Friday.
