DETROIT (WXYZ) — Carol Burnett, a comedy icon, is coming to the Detroit Opera House on Sept. 29.
Audience members will be able to ask her questions in "Carol Burnett - An Evening of Laughter and Reflection." The event is a Q&A style performance with Burnett reflecting on her career, going back to the days of "The Carol Burnett Show."
“I love the spontaneity of these evenings,” she said in a release. “I never know what anyone is going to ask, or say, or do, so it keeps me on my toes!”
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. and will be available here.
Burnett is widely known for her comedic and dramatic roles on television, film and Broadway. "The Carol Burnett Show" ran for 11 years and received 25 Emmy Awards.
