INKSTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — Community activists in Inkster shared their frustrations with recent shootings.

They gathered at Woodson Park and drove around Middlebelt and Carlyle for a ride against violence.

Demonstrators brought a poster with the names of those that have been killed in Inkster this summer.

In recent months, people have noticed more senseless violence in Inkster in broad daylight. They say it's hard to prevent children from being exposed.

There have been at least two fatal shootings in Inkster since late August.
