ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A minister yanked from his car, then kicked and punched repeatedly. The 52-year-old was brutally beaten on a busy street in Roseville.

It happened at 13 Mile and Gratiot. That is where the victim, who helps the homeless, was left in a pool of blood.

The suspects did some real damage, seriously hurt the man and stealing his van. But they didn’t steal his spirit.

Since the story first aired a lot of people have rallied around him.

Our Andrea Isom spoke with the minister and a friend about that really bad day and the good days that came after.
